I’ve been a professional family lifestyle blogger and making a full time income since 2013 at TheTipToeFairy.com.
A Little History
I began as a blogger way back in 2006 to share my sewalongs with the world. I had been on a “mommy” forum for years and hung out mostly in the sewing forum. There we would all run these sewalongs to share how we made something so that everyone else could make it. I decided I wanted to have my own place to save these sewalongs. Quickly, it turned into a place for me to share recipes, crafts, movies, books, and so much more.
To make a long story short, I got a divorce a few years later and kinda let it slide for a couple of years. During that time, I got remarried, had my third baby, and realized I needed to go back to working from home.
Learning to Blog
One thing I am always doing is learning to blog. I’ve been doing this for 12 years, but there is always something new to learn. One of my best resources is Facebook groups for bloggers. I feel like there are so many bloggers who have their finger on the pulse of blogging, and Facebook groups are a great way to find them and keep learning.
I’ve created a free yearly blog planner just for you! This is the one I use to keep track of my sponsored content. I printed it out and had it bound at an office store like Kinkos or Office Depot or Staples. When you print it out, make sure to print out the last 5 pages 12 times because these are weekly planner pages you’ll want for each month.
